Cranfield, William Thomas
1874- ?  ; e.m. 1897

PM minister between 1897 and 1905, better known by his pen-name of Denis Crane. Having served in four circuits, he disappeared from the stations and became a freelance journalist in Fleet Street. He wrote biographies of James Flanagan (1906) and Sir Robert Perks (1909) and under his own name edited Journalism as a Career (1930).
