Botheras, John
1846-1912; e.m. 1867

BC minister, born near Penzance. He attended a WM day school, but entered the BC ministry in 1867. On his retirement in 1897 he became Principal of Stafford College, London until 1911. A cultured and eloquent man, he had a concern for social welfare and was an opponent of high-church Anglicanism. He died in London on 22 December 1912.
