Sheldon, John Bernard
1901-1971; e.m.1926

He was born at Sutton Coldfield and trained at Didsbury College. In 1952 he became Assistant Secretary of the Conference. As Memorials Secretary he became a familiar and much loved figure at the Conference.

His father, W.C. Sheldon, wrote a history of Early Methodism in Birmingham to mark the opening of the new Central Hall in 1903.
