Laycock, John William

An iron merchant of Keighley, W. Yorks. He served as a WM local preacher for 68 years, being appointed President of the LPMAA in 1872. He is better known as a writer of early Methodist history, especially Methodist Heroes of the Great Haworth Round (1909).
