Hearn, Albert
1888-1982; e.m. 1913

Born at High Wycombe on 31 March 1888, he trained for the UM ministry at Victoria Park College. At Methodist Union in 1932 he became Chairman of the Derby District. As a secretary of the Chapel Department from 1942 to 1958 he was deeply involved in War Damage claims and in the post-war repair and rebuilding programme. He also served as a governor of Ashville College and on the Board of the Methodist Insurance Company and the Book Committee. He died on 23 April 1982.
