The Library has the second largest collection of Methodist books
and related literature in Europe and the second largest collection of British
Methodist books in the world.
The Library is at The Oxford Centre for Methodism and Church History,
Westminster Institute of Education, Oxford Brookes University, Harcourt Hill, Oxford OX2 9AT.
The library can be used by prior arrangement Monday to Friday 9am to 4 30pm
and on the first Saturday of the month 9am to 1pm

Reference collection available on open access shelves in the research
room.

Main collection of books and pamphlets relating to all aspects of
Methodist history are located in a secure area and available for consultation
by request.

researchers will be asked to complete a registration form and sign the
visitors’ book
The Librarian welcomes offers of
books or other material of Methodist historical interest. Please send details beforehand, indicating
whether unwanted duplicates may be disposed of appropriately.
